ECMA Spring Break Karate Camp Guidelines
Hours and Fees
Camp hours are 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Early drop off is at 7:00 am. Please advise 24-hours prior to early drop off so we can have an employee at ECMA. Please call if you expect to be late as well.
ECMA will provide small snacks and drinks during the day. However, students are allowed to bring additional snacks with them to camp. Please try to limit foods containing peanut butter, peanuts, or peanut oil. Students will need to bring a lunch daily. A water fountain is available, but children will need to bring a labeled drinking container.
Since class is only one week Karate uniforms are not required, however they are available for purchase for $60.00. Students are expected to participate in their scheduled Karate class. If they are unable to do so, their parent needs to advise in writing.
Students are responsible for keeping up with their belongings. Have have a Lost and Found for items that are left behind. All items left in Lost and Found are donated to Goodwill at the beginning for the month. Cell phones, MP3 or handheld games are to be used on Fridays only with parents’ permission. No devices are allowed that can access the internet.
Students are expected to participate in our field trip to the Gulfarium. If for any reason they do not want to participate, no one will be at ECMA to provide care. Please make arrangements in the event your child does not want to go. ECMA Spring Break T-Shirts will be worn by all students and employees for easy identification on the field trip. Clean shirts are loaned at no charge. On game or movie days, PG-rated movies are sometimes shown.
